Gallery Hotel Art - Lungarno Collection

This is my favorite hotel in Firenze. The location is excellent. The most important aspect of the Gallery Art Hotel is the service, atmosphere, cleanliness, housekeeping and the general ambiance. You just can't go wrong. I have been visiting this beautiful city for 40 years. Imagine!! I have seen many changes in hospitality, some are good and some harken to traditions of days gone by which lent a lovely patina to the ambiance of the city. The Gallery Art Hotel knows just how to bridge the old with the new. As an aside, if you have any circumstance pop up that requires assistance, the front desk and staff will gladly assist. Just a great hotel. It's my hotel for any visit to this fascinating city.

The staff, calmness, quiet room, location in the city is excellent. This is our 3rd time at the hotel from 2016.

There are many aspects to like about this hotel. The location is absolutely central for the exploration of the city. The breakfast is varied and good with table service for coffee/tea. All very efficient. I particularly liked the fresh squeezed juices. The towels and robes are ample with good housekeeping. Beds comfy with plenty of pillows. Sundries provided, good hair dryer. Nice lighted closets. The public spaces are very serene. I particularly enjoy the library with all of it's seating. The attached bar is really nice with a lovely wait-staff. It's all good here. You can't go wrong.

For the price I was disappointed. Room was clean and good size but no view. Florence has become too crowded to ever go back. Used to love that city. Now it’s way too busy.

Great location by Ponte vecchio in a little tucked away cul de sac from the crowds. We were fortunate to stay in a corner room peaking at the Uffizi tower from one and the Bell tower from the other. The hotel has a comfortable lounge to relax. The best was the concierge gave us some so recommendations of and cafe’s and restaurants if we couldn’t secure a booking and all were delicious.
